Since I have nothing else to do besides job-hunting, gym-attending, and (ugh) housework, I’ve come up with a culinary To-Do List for today to keep me sane. Here’s a look:
The Humpday Mischief List
1. Test recipe for Mini Beef Wellingtons
KM is catering an event in September, and I’m verifying Matthew’s delicious results.
2. Make homemade Ginger Snaps
Let’s be honest…I probably won’t do this today, because of the next item on the list.
3. Make BREAD.
Yes, it’s that ominous time again—DAY 10 of the Amish Bread Cycle. And since I neglected to give reader Deb her starter, that means I have two batches to make, which will yield 8 new starters. It’s like an Amish orphanage in here! Yep—it’s a hard-knock life…for me.
Expect many awkward-angle self-portraits of Kitchen Mischief and mayhem. It’s going to be an awesome disaster! 😉
